Dr Aithie was born in Northern Ireland and came to Scotland to study medicine in Glasgow. She worked in a variety of specialties in both Glasgow and London before moving to Edinburgh to complete GP training.  Her medical interests include women’s health and child health. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and running.
